NENDO

Oki Sato, born in 1977 in Toronto, Canada, studied architecture at Waseda University in Tokyo. He graduated in 2002. The same year, the nendo studio was born in Tokyo. Today, he is present on the international scene, with offices in Tokyo and Milan.

Nendo, meaning "play dough", transcribes the desire to reinvent itself.
The philosophy of Oki Sato is reflected in its design: transforming the interactions of people with the objects that surround them.
Her first exhibition "Streeterior" was presented in Tokyo and Milan in 2003. Oki Sato received many awards: Good Design Award, German Design Award, Elle Deco International Design Award and was awarded in 2012 the title of Designer of the Year by Wallpaper * magazine.
