Giancarlo Mattioli

Italian designer Giancarlo Mattioli is an Italian designer born in 1933.
In the 1960s, he created the group "Gruppo Architetti Urbanisti Città Nuova" with the Italians Pierluigi Cervellati, Umberto Maccaferri, Franco Morelli, Gianpaolo Mazzucato and Mario.
They are at the origin of the Nesso and Nessino table lamp for the Italian house Artemide. They are known and recognized design icons. The Nesso lamp is part of the MoMa museum in New York. She also won first prize in the Studio Artemide Domus competition in Milan.
