TIZIO

TIZIO, a desk lamp, a great classic designed by Richard Sapper, born in the early 1970s and then using the new halogen technology, conquered both companies and home interiors thanks to its line and its very high flexibility.
Tizio reflects aesthetic and functional balance. A table lamp that remains a marvel of modern design.
Introduced in 1972, the lamp is constructed with two counterweights allowing the user to direct the light at will.
The lamp adjusts with a pull or push of the hand. Eliminating the need for extraneous wires and enhancing a clean aesthetic, Tizio's arms conduct electricity to the bulb. An early introduction of halogen to an industry outside of automobiles.
A small reflector works with the light source to provide highly concentrated light. The articulated arm is equipped with a 2.5W LED source (bulb not included).
Tizio is included in the permanent collection of MoMA, among others.
