KARL

Karl is the new chair stool designed by Luca Nichetto, which pays tribute to Karl Lagerfeld, or rather to his collars. In fact, the curved wood structure of the stool recalls one of the distinguishing features of the iconic independent designer: a collar, to be precise.
The two structures in curved wood that comprise the seat are available in a natural
or upholstered version, whereas the base comes in versions with four legs, in different heights. The Karl chair is ideal for furnishing a variety of interiors from residential to contract complexes.

The frame is made of tubular steel elements, Ø 18 x 2 mm, coated with black or white epoxy varnish or chrome-plated. The high and medium versions have a foot support comprising a flat iron element, 30 x 4 mm, with a grooved and polished lathe-turned aluminium rod inserted in the flat iron element.
The seat is on oak veneered beech plywood, 12 mm thick, for the visible wood version, whereas the upholstered version of the seat is in beech plywood with a backrest in cold foamed polyurethane with a steel insert.
