ECLISSE

Eclisse has been an icon of industrial design since its creation in 1965, being able to provide direct or diffused light.
We recognize in this amazing little lamp the attraction of the great Italian designer, Vico Magistretti, for strong geometric volumes.
Inspired by a miner's lamp used by the hero Jean Valjean in Les Miserables, the lamp is composed of a fixed outer shell and a movable inner shell.
Manipulation of the inner sphere creates the effect of an eclipse allowing the user to add bright or more diffused light to their space.
Eclisse is part of the permanent collection of the most important design museums, including the MoMa in New York and the Triennale Design Museum in Milan.
